How sweet of you to drop by! If this is your first visit and you're curious as to what this blog is all about, let me fill you in.
As a lifelong lover of all things antique, vintage, and retro - particularly things from the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's, and 60's - this site is my visual scrapbook in which to record and share with others my thoughts on the multitude of sources, people and products that inspire and feed a modern (pin-up) girl's addiction to the past.
“The Architect of Rock and Roll” is seventy-nine years old today!
The best memory I have of Richard to this day, well actually, one of the best memories I have in general was being picked up by him at the age of four and being set atop of his baby grand piano to sing and dance along with him to “Good Golly, Miss Molly!” What a surreal experience that was!
I have Richard to thank wholeheartedly for sending me back in time to the prime of Rock and Roll music and ingraining in me my passion for music all together. Even “The King of Rock and Roll” himself admitted that he was the greatest…and he truly is.
